John, I might agree. But, as some who is professionally involved with the current system and who would be displace in a single payer system, I see every day just how broken the current system is. Unfortunately, most of us are like rats in a maze who can only see to the next corner. It’s the walls of the maze that need to come down. That they may not come down doesn’t change the need. You can’t get, what you don’t strive for.

I hate to break up the party but but even the most unrealisticly optimistic among us know that there is no potential of a single payer plan at this time. If it is on the table it is buried under a napkin as a sop to appease the noisy but largely irrelevant protestors advocating for its placement.
