The bipartisan group of Senate Finance Committee members negotiating a healthcare overhaul bill neared completion today of debate over a panel to take the responsibility of making Medicare payment decisions away from lawmakers.
Finance Chairman Max Baucus today referred to the panel as the “Medicare Preservation Commission.”
